WP - Adam Backlund (5-4)
The Hogz finally snapped out of their skid at the right time and won a game after losing 7 of the last 8 games. Luckily enough for the team, the victory secured them a place in the Green Division Championship game next week at Dill Hill. Although, the game was anything but easy for the Hogz. Fortunately, the Hogz defense showed up in the early innings and kept the game close. After 4 innnings, the Hogz found themselves behind just 1-0 after an Integrity Windows home run in the bottom of the fourth. But then the Hogz bats caught fire in the fifth. The Hogz had three home runs in the inning on big hits by Fletcher, Sam Bourcy, and Rusche. The team batted 11 players total in the inning and put a seven spot up on the board to take a commanding 7-1 lead. From there, the team never looked back and played solid defense while adding a couple insurance runs to take the victory. Fletcher, Sam Bourcy, Thomas, and Kunkel all had multi-hit games.
