LP - Adam Backlund (4-1)

In the second game against Karl Sabrowsky's team, the Hogz started out slow and could never get out of the hole they dug themselves into. Cy Young award nominee, Adam Backlund, lost his first game of the season on the mound. Once again, the opponents scored three runs in the first inning, but unlike the first game, the Hogz couldn't score any runs until the fifth inning. Unfortunately for the Hogz, the opponents scored a few more runs than them in the fifth. Led by the pitcher, who was aptly named Raush, the oppenents scored 6 runs in fifth. For the second game in a row, Sabrowsky's team used a mixture of solid hits and errors to put away the Hogz. Although, credit should be given to the Hogz as they did manage to put 6 runs on the board in the sixth on hits by Janson, Thomas, Backlund, and Peterson, but it wasn't enough. Peterson, Rusche, Janson, and Backlund all ended with 2 hits in the game.
